The Brandywine Zoo

This morning, Hanny and I trekked out to Wilmington, Delaware to meet up with our good friends Kate & Chloe and Aunt Nancy and cousin Judah.  We signed up for a little "Mommy & Me" class at the Brandywine Zoo.  It was so much fun and Hannah loved every second of it.  

There was singing, a craft, and the teachers passed around reindeer antlers and fur for the kids to touch.  Afterwards, we were given a tour of the zoo which, I admit was TINY, but was perfect for a little  1 year old.  There was a tiger, a river otter, birds, and other little animals.  The animal that was Hannah's most favorite was....the goat. We were allowed in their little pen so the kids could pet them.  Hannah flew out of my arms and walked right up to each of them and patted them on their heads as if to say "good boy".  She kept moo-ing and I had to explain to her that only cows Moo.  I don't think she understood, though, since she moo-ed at each goat  :)  

After the zoo, we all enjoyed a delicious breakfast at a diner and then went home for nap time.  

It was nice to be able to get out of Schwenksville for the morning and visit some friends/family and animals at the zoo!  We couldn't have had better weather for it, too.
